Privacy

This site works without a consent banner, and that is not a trick: it sets no advertising or analytics cookies and embeds no third-party fonts. Exactly two scripts are loaded, and both are ours: the measurement paths described further down. On a page whose address carries your numbers, not even that one is loaded.

What happens when you visit

Our server processes the data every browser sends with a request: the page address, the time, the status code, the browser identifier, and the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – without this data a server cannot respond or fend off attacks.

Audience measurement

We use Plausible, Umami and a first-party event counter on our own server. All work without cookies. Umami creates a regularly rotating anonymous session and stores no IP address. The event counter never receives input values. The data never leaves our infrastructure.

Affiliate links

When you click a link marked with *, we increment a counter – nothing more. We store neither your IP address nor your browser identifier, neither the time nor the page you came from. No personal data arises. What happens afterwards at the partner is governed by their privacy policy; as a rule they set a cookie in order to attribute a commission.

For the newsletter we store your email address and the time you confirmed it. Sign-up runs through a double opt-in: without the click in the confirmation email you receive nothing. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Sending runs through Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH). Every unsubscribe deletes the address; it is not merely switched off.

Two numbers we keep

Two events are counted as a plain number per calendar day: how often the price-list dataset was downloaded, and how many newsletter sign-ups were confirmed. Both are pages or files that cannot or must not carry a measurement script – without that number we would not know whether anyone uses them at all. What is stored is a key, a date and a count, nothing else: neither your IP address nor your browser identifier, neither the time of day nor the page you came from. No personal data arises.

Calculators

What you enter into a calculator is processed on our server and not stored – neither your entry nor your result, not even anonymously.

Your entries appear in the address of the result page, and that is deliberate: it is the only way you can bookmark a calculation, print it, or pass it on. The price is that the numbers sit in your browser history and in any address you share. We keep them out everywhere else: the response is not cached (Cache-Control: private, no-store), it does not enter the search index, it sends no address along when you follow a link (Referrer-Policy: no-referrer), and the audience measurement does not run on it. If you want the numbers out of your history, open the page without the query or delete the entry.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. A message to the address above is enough.
