What happens when you visit
Our server processes the data every browser sends with a request: the page address, the time, the status code, the browser identifier, and the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – without this data a server cannot respond or fend off attacks.
Audience measurement
We measure with Plausible on our own server. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and builds no cross-device profile. The data never leaves our infrastructure.
Affiliate links
When you click a link marked with *, we increment a counter – nothing more. We store neither your IP address nor your browser identifier, neither the time nor the page you came from. No personal data arises. What happens afterwards at the partner is governed by their privacy policy; as a rule they set a cookie in order to attribute a commission.
Newsletter
For the newsletter we store your email address and the time you confirmed it. Sign-up runs through a double opt-in: without the click in the confirmation email you receive nothing. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Sending runs through Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH). Every unsubscribe deletes the address; it is not merely switched off.
Calculators
What you enter into a calculator is processed on our server and not stored – neither your entry nor your result, not even anonymously.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. A message to the address above is enough.
