Eight questions. Then you know what these eight items take out of your year, how many working hours that is – and which single move to start with.

We ask for amounts YOU consider avoidable. We assume no average household and estimate nothing about you – the number at the end is yours, not ours.

Subscriptions and memberships you barely use – what do they cost together per month? Streaming, gym, cloud, magazines, software. Only what you touch less than once a month.

Delivery and eating out – how much of that per month could you cover another way? Not dinner with friends. This is about ordering out of tiredness.

The small daily habit – coffee out, snacks, energy drinks: what does it cost you per month? Be honest: amount times days. This is not about giving it up, it is about knowing the number.

Account and card fees – what do you pay per month? Monthly maintenance, card fees, charges for transfers or withdrawals.

Interest on overdraft, credit card, or instalments – what do you pay per month? It is on your statement. Not the repayment – only the interest.

Devices running around the clock without being used – what do you estimate per month? Standby, old second devices, a server under the desk. If unsure, leave this empty and work it out with the power calculator.

Power, phone, insurance – how much could you save per month by switching? We do not know this number and will not guess it. If you do not have it, leave the field empty – the item still lands in your plan as what it is: a task.

Something you pay for and barely use – second car, parking space, storage, club fees: how much per month? The item nobody thinks of, because it never announces itself: it gets debited and never used.

Optional: what lands in your account per month, after tax? Only used to convert your total into working hours. Without it we leave the line out rather than guess.
